Mr. Oscar Galeano Santos

Welcome to 4th grade!

¡Bienvenidos a 4to grado!

My name is Oscar Galeano Santos. I was born in Colombia, South America and I have been a teacher for about 15 years. Most of them in 4th grade. I am thrilled to be your new Fourth Grade teacher at Carl A. Furr Elementary. 

I got my Bachelors degree as a Foreign Language Teacher from Universidad del Valle, Colombia. Additionally, I obtained my  Master's degree in TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages) from Greensboro College, NC.

I had the opportunity to work in North Carolina for 5 years (2014-2019) in a different county. Therefore, I am really excited to come back to continue sharing my experience as an elementary teacher. 

Ms. Huneycutt and I will work together to offer your child a great school year full of meaningful experiences and lots of fun. We really look forward to working with all of you in order to achieve all the goals set in this new adventure.
