Welcome to 4th grade!

My name is Angela Alvarez. This is my 16th year as a teacher.  I have taught from kinder to fourth grade in bilingual schools in my country.  This is my fifth and last year as a 4th grade Dual Language Immersion teacher at Furr. I love to be part of the Furr family. I was born and raised in Cali, a city from Colombia. I graduated as a teacher of Foreign Languages in 2006. I also have a specialization degree in Didactics of Math.  I really want this year be full of wonderful learning experiences for everybody!

I have been happily married for 10 years. I have a son, Juan Felipe, who is in fourth grade at Furr.
