Brooks Hill:
Absentee ballots for the Fairport Central School District’s 2020-21 school budget vote and board election along with the Public Library’s budget and board election have been mailed out to all residents in the District.
Qualified voters who did not receive an absentee ballot may request one by contacting Deputy District Clerk Taylor Buffa via email at tbuffa@fairport.org.
The annual school budget vote and board election has been rescheduled for Tuesday, June 9, 2020. All voting will take place via absentee ballot. Ballots must be received by the district clerk by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9 to be valid. All District households should have already received two ballots each.
The Fairport Central School District has appointed Ryan Charno as the new principal of Jefferson Avenue School. Charno is currently the assistant principal of Dudley School.
With more than 15 years of experience in education, Charno has been at Dudley School since 2014, serving as assistant principal. Previously he taught elementary students in the Victor CSD.
For your planning purposes, the last day of school for students in K-12 will be Tuesday, June 16.

Fairport High School is proud to announce David Munechika as the Valedictorian and Emily Pollack as the Salutatorian of the Class of 2020. These two accomplished seniors have achieved the highest and second highest grades in their graduating class of 485 students.

Fairport Central School District’s newest edition of the Commentator is now available. The 2020-21 proposed budget vote this year is via absentee ballot and must be received by the District on June 9 by 5 p.m.

The Fairport Central School District Board of Education is composed of seven members elected by residents of the District. Members are elected for a term of three years and serve without pay. There are three candidates running for three open positions. The incumbents are Margaret Cardona and Joyce Kostyk. The three candidates receiving the highest number of votes will be elected to three-year terms beginning July 1,
