Dear Fairport Community:
This letter is to inform you that one staff member at Martha Brown Middle School has tested positive for COVID-19.
The District has collaborated with the Monroe County Department of Health (MCDOH).
The Fairport Central School District’s schedule for start and end times during the 2020-21 school year has been slightly adjusted to accommodate the increase of families transporting students to and from school on the in-school days for hybrid students (Monday/Thursday and Tuesday/Friday). Dear K-5 Families:
School administrators have been diligently planning the return to school for students in the hybrid and virtual learning programs.
Given the health and safety guidelines established by the Centers for Disease Control, the New York State Education Department and Governor Cuomo,
The Fairport Art Department has put together a collection of artwork that would have been on display at this year’s budget vote. The work was gathered from art teachers that teach grades K-12. This collection celebrates the diverse imaginations and talents our students possess. We thank you for your continued support of the visual arts.
The following events are organized by school and then by event and date. Please contact your child’s school for more information or for questions regarding these events.
Brooks Hill:
Martha Brown Middle School will present “Shrek the Musical” on Friday, March 20 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 21 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the school auditorium. Tickets are $7 each and can be purchased during lunch periods (10:15-1:10 p.m.) or at the door.
Twelve (12) teams will represent Fairport CSD in the Greater Rochester Odyssey of the Mind Regional Tournament being held on Saturday, March 7 at the Spencerport Central School District.
The regional winners in each division for each problem will advance to the state tournament on Saturday, April 4 at Binghamton State University.
The Fairport Art Department is pleased to share that 16 works by Fairport students grades 6-12 are featured in the “Start Here” Exhibition throughout January at RIT’s Bevier Gallery.
Each year art teachers in the surrounding area have the opportunity to enter ONLY two pieces into an annual exhibit held at RIT.
The Fairport Central School District is committed to providing equity and access for all students.
