District seeks participation in Parent Focus Groups on Equity

The Fairport Central School District is committed to providing equity and access for all students. We are currently working with Generation Ready, an education consulting firm based in New York State, to assist us in gathering information about our programs and services that support the students in our community. As parents, guardians, and community members, your feedback is an important part of this process.

Please consider participating in one of the following Parent Focus Groups on Equity. All sessions are open to all individuals, but if possible please choose a session at a building your child/children attend.

  • Brooks Hill – January 14, 2020 from 1:30-2:30 PM
  • Northside – January 15, 2020 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM
  • Jefferson Avenue – January 15, 2020 from 1:30 – 2:30 PM
  • EVENING SESSION – January 15, 2020 from 5:30 – 6:30 PM at Johanna Perrin Middle School Library
  • Dudley – January 16, 2020 from 9:00 – 10:00 AM
  • Martha Brown – February 12, 2020 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM
  • Johanna Perrin – February 12, 2020 from 1:30 – 2:30 PM
  • Minerva DeLand – February 13, 2020 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM
  • Fairport High School – February 13, 2020 from 1:30 – 2:30 PM

Focus groups will also be conducted with students and staff at each building. Be on the lookout for an online Equity Survey that will be shared soon!
