The Fairport Art Department is pleased to share that 16 works by Fairport students grades 6-12 are featured in the “Start Here” Exhibition throughout January at RIT’s Bevier Gallery.
Each year art teachers in the surrounding area have the opportunity to enter ONLY two pieces into an annual exhibit held at RIT. All students who had work chosen by their teachers should be commended for their talents and efforts. This show is highly competitive and is juried by a panel of representatives from each of RIT’s College of Arts and Design schools. The newly re-named RIT College of Art and Design possesses schools in Illustration, Art education, Medical Illustration, Photography, Ceramics just to name a few.
