Where are my children's documents????

I wanted to share with you a suggestion which I give to my Rising Seniors' but it is applicable to any member of your family.  

Buy a folder and place the following papers into this folder:

• a copy of your birth certificate
• a copy of your drivers license
• a copy of your social security card
• a copy of your immunizations
• a copy of your passport (if you have one) 

Never give anyone the last copy you have as they will say they never received it!  Due to our mobile society, it is hard to retrieve copies of these documents.  Precious time can be wasted, and, in some cases, charges are attached to retrieve these papers.
