Greetings Trojan Nation! My name is Jeff Martin, and I’m pleased to be joining the team at NCHS! This is my 12^th year in education, and my 5^th year teaching Technology and STEM classes. I earned my BS in History, Secondary Education in 2006 from Appalachian State University. Subsequently, I earned a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Technology Facilitation in 2020 and an MA in Educational Media in 2021, from Appalachian State as well. I spent seven years as a high school and middle school History and Social Studies teacher in CMS and UCPS, followed by two years at an AV production firm where I worked primarily as an audio engineer. More recently, I have been a Technology and STEM teacher, as well as the Instructional Technology person, at a charter school in Mecklenburg County.

When I’m not working, I enjoy playing music, reading, woodworking, and having fun with my family.
