Mrs. Anne Swayney

I have been teaching English for 20 years at Northwest. I graduated from Concord High School in 1986 and from Pfeiffer College in 1990 but I actually finished up in the spring semester of 1989 due to my attendance at UNCC each summer. I have a BA in English-Writing. I love the faculty and staff here but especially the students!!  We have 4 children- all grown up- 2 boys and 2 girls. We have 5 beautiful granddaughters & 1 grandson who we are enjoying very much! When we are not teaching we enjoy going to the beach and going camping- we love to travel. We have two german short haired pointers - Bristol and Brayleigh they run the household!
