    Criteria to be eligible:

    Must have a 3.8 cumulative GPA (weighted).

    Only for Juniors and Seniors

    Your grades are checked every semester to make sure you have at least a 3.8 GPA.

    If you go below a 3.8 GPA you are put on probation for 1 semester. If you do not bring your GPA back up during that probationary period then you are no longer eligible for Beta Club.

    To be in Beta Club as a senior you have to complete 50 service hours (wherever/whenever)

    To be in Beta Club as a junior you have to complete 30 service hours (wherever/whenever).

    If you get ISS or OSS, you are no longer allowed to be a part of Beta Club.

    Benefits of BETA Club:

    Your membership looks GREAT on your college application. Not only are you achieving high grades but you are also giving back to the community through service. You receive a stole and a gold seal on your diploma.

  • The Cabarrus Arts Council (Davis Theater) is always looking for volunteers.  If any is interested in volunteering with them, you can email them at info@cabarrusartscouncil.org.     The Davidson Housing Coalition needs volunteers everyday on the first week of November (1-4) between 4-6pm to help put together bags for their Luminary Light Event. They are going to put things like sand and candles into white paper bags so they can be lit as luminaries around a neighborhood.     Tri-Acres Swim Club, a non-profit organization is seeking volunteers to help us with our fall (October 22, mainly morning hours) and spring (TBD)  vendor sales. This would involve helping vendors and other club volunteers.     El Puente Hispano - Concord International Festival

    From 8am-12pm will be setting up the festival at Ann Streets Methodist Church and from 12pm-8pm will be the actual festival at Downtown Concord.     Special Olympics Bowling Assistants

    Special Olympics is looking for folks age 14+ to be Bowling Lane Assistants! Not much is needed- help each person go when it’s their turn (maintain order on your lane), if any bowler needs assistance with a ramp or getting the right ball, do that. Cheer them on!!!
