Welcome to my web page!!! I am pleased to be teaching your son or daughter this school year!!!  This is my 19th year teaching the Occupational Course of Study diploma pathway at NCHS. I graduated from UNCC with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and later acquired my Exceptional Children teaching license. During and after college, I worked in retail management for 10 years. Throughout my management career, I gained a lot of knowledge about the world of work and the skills needed to obtain and maintain employment.  I have been able to use that knowledge to teach my students the transferable skills that will enable them to be better students and employees.

 

I have created Canvas courses for all of my classes. Students should check my ANNOUNCEMENTS EVERY DAY for links to classroom assignments and important information.
