Welcome to 6th grade Science at Concord Middle School.  Ms. Ellis is very excited to be a part of your middle school experience.  Science is such a crucial part of our world and our day to day life.  We will navigate our Science learning through hands-on and minds-on experiences.  I am married to an Art Educator at the Mint Museum of Art in Charlotte.  We have 2 children- Jude and Stella and we spend a lot of our free time in the mountains of North Carolina where we hike, kayak, roam and explore.  I was born in Wilmington, Delaware but quickly transplanted to North Carolina.  My love and passion is Environmental Science.  My pleasures outside the classroom are spending time with my family, reading (usually at least 3 books at a time), gardening, hiking, cooking (vegetarian) meals, music and devoting time for reflection.  I am looking forward to getting to know all of my students and their families.
