Welcome to Ms. Blackhorse's Science Class! Ms. Blackhorse is so excited to work with you this year! She loves to make science hands-on and fun by conducting experiments all year long! She was born in Charlotte, Nc and enlisted in the Army when she graduated from high school.
After the military, Ms. Blackhorse graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Masters of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in Middle Grade Science Education.
Ms. Blackhorse was drawn to science because she had a lot of questions about how things worked when she was younger. Her favorite subjects in science are Astronomy and Physics.
She was Concord Middle School's "Beginning Teacher of the Year" Recipient for 2021-2022
