Hello, Concord Middle School students and parents! I'm April Vázquez, and I teach English as a Foreign Language. I studied literature at the University of North Carolina at Asheville and the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I've worked in the field of education for more than twenty years.
From September of 2010 until June of 2019, I lived in León, Guanajuato, Mexico, where I enjoyed the beautiful weather and delicious food of Mexico. I love reading and writing and spending time with my three children, Antonia, Dani, and Dahlia.
¡Hola, estudiantes y padres de familia de Concord Middle School! Yo soy Abril Vázquez y soy profesora de inglés como segundo lenguaje. Estudié la literatura en la Universidad de Carolina del Norte-Asheville y la enseñanza del idioma inglés en la Universidad de Carolina del Norte-Charlotte. He trabajado en la educación durante más de veinte años.
Desde septiembre de 2010 hasta junio de 2019 viví en León, Guanajuato, México, donde disfrutaba del hermoso clima y la riquísima comida de México. Me encanta leer y escribir y pasar tiempo con mis tres hijas, Antonia, Dani y Soledad.
