Mary Howard

Welcome to sixth grade at Concord Middle School. Ms. Howard is eager to work with our New Miners. She is from the outer banks of Eastern North Carolina. Ms. Howard graduated from Appalachian State University in 1994. She later received a Masters in Education from Wingate University. Ms. Howard previously taught at East Elementary over seven years. She is excited about teaching Social Studies at Concord Middle School. Ms. Howard has two daughters and one son; Tierra (24), Onii (18) and Elijah (22). She has a very energetic pug named Meeko. Ms. Howard enjoys hiking, horseback riding and working in the community with her church family.
