Vanessa Rose-Durant

Welcome to 7th Grade at Concord Middle! My name is Vanessa Durant and I am the math teacher on Team Onyx. This is my 9th year teaching in North Carolina!

I was born and raised in Turbeville, SC. I moved to Charlotte after I finished my undergraduate degree at Morris College in Mathematics. I taught 7th and 8th grade in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools for 7 years. 

I'm married with four beautiful children. I love teaching Math and when I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family.  I also love reading, running, swimming, and traveling, especially to a beach.  I am looking forward to all we can learn together this year!
