I graduated from West Virginia University with a Master's Degree in Special Education. I received my certification in English Language Arts in 2010. I have been teaching at Concord Middle School since 1996. I also hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.

Hello, my name is Mr. York. I am starting my 27th year as a teacher at Concord Middle School. I am currently the Skills Plus Reading teacher. I have also served as an Exceptional Children's teacher. I have enjoyed all the relationships I have formed with students over the years and strive to make a difference in their lives in some way. I am married and have two children. I love sports, exercise, reading, doing puzzles, hiking and travel. I'm looking forward to the 2022-2023 school year! Please feel free to contact me at anytime with concerns or questions.
