Mr. Irving

Welcome back students and parents to our 2020-2021 school year. My name is Mr. Irving and I will be teaching 8th grade Math this year. This is my 4th year teaching in the North Carolina education sytem. I was raised in Charlotte, North Carolina and graduated from Independence High School. I also attended UNC-Charlotte and graduated with a bachelors in English Literature. 

Outside of teaching at Concord Middle School I am a husband and father of three energetic boys. I enjoy coaching youth recreational basketball as well as coaching at Concord Middle School. I enjoy good music, good food, and traveling the world. I'm a Panthers fan, NBA fan, and boxing fan. Math is my passion and I look forward to sharing what I know and assisting you in your lifelong learning journey.

This new school year will be different from any other school year you have completed up until this point but we here at Concord Middle School will assist you along the way.
