Mrs. Jasmine Smith

Welcome to 8th Grade Science! I am thrilled to welcome both new and prior students to MINER COUNTRY! I am eager to build lasting relationships with the students and parents that I may encounter this school year.

Prior to teaching, I graduated from UNC-Charlotte in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and in Biology.

After school hours, I return home to my husband and my smart, ever-so-loving, and growing little boy named Grayson (age 5) and darling daughter Gracelynn (age 2). I take pride in my family and our values.

Having that sense of community and/or family at CMS, I believe, is essential for my students as well. Creating such a culture produces students who take pride in their school and in their work. My goal this year for my students and families is to provide a learning environment that is conducive to both growth and success.
