Mrs. Shanna Meehan

Mrs. Meehan graduated from UNC Charlotte as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow where she earned Summa Cum Laude distinction with a Bachelor's Degree in English with a focus on Secondary Education. She began teaching English and Leadership class at Central Cabarrus High School and earned a Master's Degree in English Education from UNC Charlotte. After earning a second Master's Degree of Education in School Leadership and Administration from Wingate University, she became the school's Freshman Academy Coordinator where she led the high school freshmen and their teachers for seven years. Finding a love for international education led her to become the International Baccalaureate Coordinator for the Middle Years Programme at JN Fries Middle School and Concord Middle School.  This is Mrs. Meehan's 24th year as an educator in Cabarrus County Schools.
