Growth mindset is the belief that students can "achieve at higher levels-- with effort, perseverance, and resiliency." (Ricci, 2015)
The opposite of having a growth mindset is a fixed mindset. Learners with this mindset believe intelligence is limited to what you were born with and therefore cannot be changed. (Ricci, 2015)
