Mrs. Ashley Ligon
Welcome 6th Grade Miners!!
Hello! I'm Mrs. Ligon and I am so excited to be the 6th grade school counselor. This is my 6th year at Concord Middle and my 12th year as a school counselor. Previously, I worked in Gaston County Schools as the district mental health clinician and also as an elementary school counselor. I earned both my Bachelors in Psychology and Master's in Community & Counseling Development from Winthrop University, GO EAGLES!!
I'm married to my high school sweatheart and we have 3 beautiful children, 2 daughters (10 year old & 8 month old) and a son (6 year old). In my free time, I love reading, baking, and trying new food, especially food trucks!
I am glad you are joining Concord Middle on this digital learning adventure and I look forward to connecting and working with my 6th graders and their families this year.
