  • My name is Meaghan Honeycutt and I am so very excited to start a new school year! I believe that each student is unique and is not only capable of learning but also capable of succeeding and this year I will work with your student to help them be the best they can be!
     
    Let me share some information about myself! I was born and raised here in Mount Pleasant, NC and graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in 2010. I then attended Appalachian State University in Boone, NC where I got my degree in Special Education Adapted Curriculum as well as my teaching license in both adapted and general curriculums, and graduated in May of 2014. 
     
    I am a very family-oriented person, so during my free time I love to spend time with my family, friends and two dogs, Beau and Hazel! My husband, Casey and I have two young daughters, McKinley and Maddox, that keep us very busy.
     
    This is my ninth year teaching and my eighth year teaching with Cabarrus County Schools.  This is my first year at Mount Pleasant Middle and I am so happy to be back where I went to school!  Go Tigers!
