Welcome back!
 

Hi everyone! I am starting my 15th year in education. I taught elementary school for 12 years and am looking forward to my 3rd year at MPMS. I earned my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from RCCC and my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from UNCC. I am also GLEE certified. 

I am a fur mama to a 7 year old Australian Shepherd named Kenzy and a 2 year old Shitzu named Daisy. We added a new addition to our family in March. She is a Cane Corso named Mia. My sister and I also decided this summer that we wanted to add chickens to our mini-farm, so we now have 12 "bak-baks" (as my nephew calls them) running around. My nephew turned 2 in July and I love having him live next door. When at home I love being outdoors, eating sushi and enjoying Diet Mountain Dew. I am looking forward to another year as a Mount Pleasant Tiger!

Important Information

Classroom Expectations

  • I have high expectations for my students. 

    1. Be prepared each day - have all your materials...Math notebooks are needed everyday.
    2. Homework should be completed each night, it is an extension of the lesson!
    3. Follow directions the first time given.
    4. Classroom transitions should be done quickly and quietly.
     
     
     

    HOMEWORK: Students will have homework every night during the week (Monday-Thursday). Grading is based on EFFORT! I JUST WANT TO SEE YOU TRY! 

     

    To Schedule a Conference:   If you would like to meet with your student's teachers, you must call Ms. Stout in the office at 704-260-6530.  Meetings should not be scheduled through emails or written notes to individual teachers.
