Mrs. Melody Lee Quick

Welcome!  I am Mrs. Quick, the Learning Connections teacher for 8th grade.  This is my fourth year at Mt. Pleasant Middle School and my eight years teaching in the middle school Learning Connections classroom.  I have previously taught in Cabarrus County Schools at AT Allen Elementary, Charles E. Boger Elementary, Winecoff Elementary, and Concord Middle School in Special Education in regular and adaptive curriculum.  In 1993, I graduated from Houghton College in New York with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation, emphasis in Therapeutic, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.  I decided to pursue Special Education when I moved to North Carolina and took classes for lateral entry at UNC-Charlotte.  

I am truly excited to be a part of the Tiger family!
