Mrs. Alice Graham
English Language Arts Interventionist
Mrs. Graham is very excited about this upcoming year at CMS! She was a CMS Miner in middle school, and graduated from Concord High School in 1988. Go SPIDERS!! She has many fond memories of middle and high school.
This is Mrs. Graham's 29th year teaching. Throughout her career, she has taught 5th, 1st, and 2nd grades, and worked as a K-5 Reading Interventionist, Reading Lead Teacher, Literacy Coach and Curriculum Coordinator.
As CMS's ELA Interventionist, she works with students to reach their reading instructional goals, and to become proficient readers, writers and speakers. She works with students in small groups on phonics (prefixes, suffixes and reading and decoding multi-syllabic words), vocabulary, oral reading fluency, and comprehension. She also facilitates many Book Clubs at all grade levels.
When Mrs. Graham is not teaching middle schoolers, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, reading, camping, running 5ks, and fishing.
