Ms. Katherine Clardy

Welcome back!

            Katherine Clardy is a 7th grade teacher.  She has the pleasure of teaching World History.  This is her eighth year teaching at Concord, and her 24th year as a teacher. Growing up in Philadelphia, she learned history first hand at the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall.   After graduating from high school, she went to Siena college, earning two degrees in four years. One in Education and one in History.  After moving to Charlotte twenty-four years ago, Ms. Clardy worked for the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools at Ranson IB Middle School.  There, she coached soccer, worked with seventh and eighth graders and made lifelong friends.  She also earned her National Board Certification and her Masters degree in Middle Grades Education.  Eight years ago, she became a proud Miner teacher and soccer coach.  Ms. Clardy is proud to be a Miner and devoted to the families and children at Concord.
