    1. Be Prepared:Students should come to class prepared with materials, assignments, and a positive mental attitude each day.

     

    1. Be Present and Prompt:Students should be in class each and every day that it is physically possible.  Class discussions and activities are vital to the learning experience.

     

    1. Be Polite:Being polite is more than just using good manners.  This involves having respect for yourself, your classmates, your teacher, as well as your learning atmosphere.  Demonstrating this characteristic at all times will provide a peaceful and productive working environment for all.

     

    1. Be Productive:This year is designed to challenge students' critical thinking skills as well as their character.  There will be many concepts that will be difficult to grasp right away.  Students should make it a personal goal to persevere in their studies and give 100% effort each and every day.  Do NOT give up. 

     

     

    Grading Rules:

    Homework and reading progress count ONE time.

    Classwork and Quizzes count TWO times.

    Tests, Projects, and Essays count THREE times.
