Mrs. Haney

Hello! My name is Mrs. Haney and I teach 6th grade ELA at MPMS. I LOVE middle school! Middle schoolers are so fun, smart , and funny! I am also in love with teaching and with great  books!!

            I graduated from Bowling Green State University (Go Falcons!) in Ohio with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I then attended UNCC (G0 49ers!) to get my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. I love school and enjoy passing my passion for learning on to my students.

            I was born in Galion, Ohio and moved to NC in 1994. I love visiting family and friends in Ohio, but I do NOT miss the snow. I love the sunny weather in NC! I currently live in Concord with my husband and our son, Dalton.

            When I am not teaching or planning awesome things for my students, I enjoy shopping, decorating, exercising, dining out, and spending time with my family and friends.
