Welcome to Carl A. Furr Elementary!  I'm so excited to start a new school year in Kindergarten!  I am originally from Daytona Beach, Florida.  I am a proud graduate of the University of Florida. (Go Gators!)

This will be my 26th year of teaching.  (23 in Kindergarten/3 in First Grade)  I taught in Florida for the first 6 years, and then moved to Concord in time to help open Cox Mill Elementary.  When Carl A Furr opened, I moved with many of my students to the new school.  This is my 8th year teaching in the SPLASH program.  I'm excited to be team teaching with Clarena Montes de Oca again this year!  Sra Montes de Oca and I use Bloomz technology to communicate with our families.  We will post information, pictures, and reminders often.  If you are interested in joining our Bloomz page, please go to Bloomz.com and enter code V7K844.
