Mrs. Leiton

My name is Sue Leitón and I will be your 5th child’s teacher this year. I have a major in English Teaching and taught for over 12 years in Costa Rica, both Elementary and Middle School. This is my 4th year as part of the Furr Family.

As a teacher,  I’m committed to high quality learning processes and standards, as well as to significant education for life based on an Interactive Student Centered Approach. Being caring and loving towards the students is a strong belief that creates a healthy and safe environment for us to work.  I usually like to clearly set rules in order to have a successful class. I consider discipline and having a strong relationship with my students important clues in this process. 

I have been married for eleven years to Erik, who is a chef in Harrisburg. I have a daughter, Savannah, who attends 3rd grade here at Furr.
