Foreign Exchange Program
Fairport High School Foreign Exchange Program
The Fairport High School Foreign Exchange Program is for one school year. We do not host for semesters or shorter. FHS has a limit of five (5) students per year. Please use this page as a resource if you are interested in participating in the program or hosting.
Guidelines to Entry:
- Foreign Exchange student must be entering their 11th or 12th-grade year. Students in 10th grade will not be considered.
- Students will be registered as “seniors” at FHS.
- Foreign Exchange student/family contacts an approved Host Program Liaison from the list below to begin the process for potential placement by next year.
- Host Program Liaison will contact FHS with the student’s information for review and approval by the FHS Principal.
- Contact the White House office at FHS by calling (585) 421-2301 to have the student approved
- Once the student arrives, you must contact the District Registrar, Traci Hall, at (585) 421-2009 for an appointment to register in the district
- Once registered, you must make an appointment with a guidance counselor at FHS by calling (585) 421-2108 to have courses selected
