Board of Education passes facilities planning resolution

The Fairport Central School District Board of Education unanimously passed the Development of Consolidation of Facilities Plan Resolution during its May 28 board meeting. Residents approve 2019-20 school budget

Residents in the Fairport Central School District approved the 2019-20 budget on May 21, 2019. Voters also approved the proposition and elected board members, along with approving the library budget and electing a library board trustee.

Douglas W. Lauf named next assistant superintendent for Human Resources

At the Regular Board of Education meeting on April 23, the Board appointed Douglas W. Lauf to serve as assistant superintendent for human resources beginning July 1, 2019. Lauf will succeed Michael Crumb, who has been serving as the acting assistant superintendent for human resources since January. The search process included invaluable feedback by an interview committee and focus groups.
