Congratulations to Fairport High School students Jeslyn H., Laura W., Caitlyn M., Declan W. and Reid C.! All five musicians were chosen for the 2022-2023 Hochstein Youth Symphony Orchestra, the music school’s highest-level student ensemble.
Students from 12 counties, including Monroe, compete every year for a seat in the HYSO.

Fairport High School music teacher and band director Bill Tiberio was named one of the Eastman School’s 100 recipients of the Centennial Award.

Students enter the National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) in 11th grade.

Thousands of people gathered at Fairport High School to honor the District’s Varsity athletic teams at the pep rally and to share the spirit of Once a Raider,
Dear Fairport Community;
This has been a whirlwind of a first week! There was a sense of joy and excitement that one can only find in our Fairport Schools. Our students were welcomed back into our buildings, cafeterias and classrooms with open arms and a sense of joy.
Please join us, rain or shine, on Friday evening at FHS for this community wide event that will include a pep rally, food trucks, a bonfire and fireworks!
Shuttle services will run from 5 to 9 p.m. from several locations (Jefferson Ave., Martha Brown, Dudley/Northside, and Center Park).
In an effort to include all seniors in our yearbook, we will have Lifetouch Studios at Fairport High School during the weeks of July 18-22 and August 15-19.
