Welcome to Red Ribbon Week! Throughout the community and around our schools you will see red ribbons. They are visible signs of our commitment to help our students be drug free. With its focus on encouraging healthy life choices, Red Ribbon Week heightens everyone’s awareness that we need to work together to eradicate drug and substance abuse.
Fairport celebrates new Wall of Fame inductees
As part of the District’s Homecoming Weekend, Oct. 11-13, a highlight of the festivities included the Fairport Alumni Wall of Fame Induction Ceremony. The event recognized outstanding Fairport alumni who have achieved distinction in their lives and chosen fields after high school through significant contributions to their careers, community, or through personal achievements.

FHS Senior Leadership Seminar students showcase research in D.C.
Each fall, Fairport High School (FHS) students have a unique opportunity to work with government leaders in Washington, D.C. to discuss topics and issues they research as part of a social studies elective course, Senior Leadership Seminar. This year, 119 seminar students traveled to D.C, September 22-25 and engaged in a rigorous schedule that allowed them to showcase their research.

STOP VAPING! Public Service Announcement on E-Cigs
Fairport Central School District strives to ensure the health and safety of its students, and by engaging in the school community is striving to work with parents and guardians on the dangers of e-cigs and vaping. Board confirms scope of capital project
At its September 17 meeting, the Fairport Board of Education confirmed the scope of the Capital Improvement Project for a referendum vote in December 2019. Fairport CSD is looking for members to join new Diversity Council
The Fairport Central School District is launching its newly formed Diversity Council in September 2019 and is looking for members to join its focus on prioritizing the District’s Strategic Initiatives and the Whole Child education.
