The Fairport Central School District would like to invite the community, parents and other caregivers to hear from Dr. Kenneth Ginsburg, a nationally-recognized and award winning author and pediatrician, speak about the importance of developing resilience in children on Tuesday, October 15, 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Fairport High School. Dr. Ginsburg is a pediatrician specializing in Adolescent Medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He also serves as Director of Health Services at Covenant House Pennsylvania, an agency that serves Philadelphia’s homeless and marginalized youth. Dr. Ginsburg is the author of several award-winning parenting books, including Building Resilience in Children and Teens and Raising Kids to Thrive. He has appeared on CNN, FOX and Friends, NPR, The Today Show, Good Morning America, The CBS morning show, and ABC, NBC, and CBS Nightly News programs.
