Educators to be inducted into Fairport’s Education Wall of Distinction, Dec. 4
The Fairport Central School District will honor its new members in the Education Wall of Distinction Induction Ceremony, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. at Fairport High School room 512. The entire community is invited to attend the event. There will also be a reception following the ceremony.

FHS Drama Club presents adaptation of “The Odyssey,” Nov. 21-23
The Fairport High School Drama Club presents “The Odyssey” on Thursday, Nov. 21, Friday, Nov. 22 and Saturday, Nov. 23. All shows are at 7:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Tickets can be purchased for $10 at area Wegmans or at the door the evenings of the show.

Absentee ballot application for Dec. 10 capital project vote
Residents who are unable to vote at the Capital Project Vote on Dec. 10, 2019 because of disability, illness or travel may apply for an absentee ballot by completing the application and returning it to Fairport Central School District, Office of the District Clerk, 38 W. Church Street, Fairport, NY 14450.
Community invited to proposed capital project events in November
The Fairport Central School District will host upcoming events for the community about the proposed capital project, Fairport Forward: Foundations for the Future.
A Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 19 will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Fairport High School, room 512, and will include a presentation of the proposed capital improvement project ahead of the vote on Dec.
Annual Craft Sale is Nov. 23, open to the community
The Fairport Educator’s Association (FEA) of the Fairport Central School District is preparing for its 37th annual FEA Craft Sale, Saturday, Nov. 23 at the Minerva DeLand School gymnasium from 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Fairport High School partners with local credit union to open school branch
Fairport High School is now home to its own student-run credit union! Students, faculty, administrators and Advantage Federal Credit Union (AFCU) officials celebrated the grand opening of Raider Union in October 2019. The school’s business students are learning about financial literacy while gaining real world experience through this partnership with AFCU.

The Fairport Central School District is proposing a capital improvement project, Fairport Forward: Foundations for the Future Phase 1, for the community to vote on Dec. 10, 2019. The District’s Board of Education adopted a resolution for this capital project vote at it’s Oct. 22, 2019 meeting.
