We want to make you aware of a governmental resource for obtaining free at-home COVID-19 rapid tests for your convenience and safety. CovidTests.gov launched this week. At this site, you can place an order for up to four free at-home rapid test kits to be delivered by the USPS.

Fairport will once again recognize the National Day of Racial Healing with a series of events for parents, community members, and staff, beginning on January 18, 2022.

Fairport High School senior nominated for top academic honor

A Fairport High School senior has earned a chance to compete for one of the country’s top academic honors. Lucia Cardona (‘22) was nominated by New York State’s Education Commissioner Betty Rosa for the national Presidential Scholars Program. Rosa nominated 25 students from across the state in late December to compete for the national honor.

Northside “Gratitude Week” inspires students to give back

Fairport Season of Giving

Students at Northside Elementary School are practicing gratitude and the spirit of giving back this week as part of the school’s “Gratitude Week”. The Northside Student Council brainstormed a list of people who students are thankful for and assigned each group a day of the week. During the week, students at lunch are encouraged to write letters to the people in their lives in each group.
