A public hearing will be during the Aug. 21 board meeting regarding the approval of the Districtwide Safety Plan. The hearing will be held from 6:30-6:45 p.m. The safety plan has been posted to the Fairport website for 30 days and can be found here.

Residents in the Fairport Central School District approved the 2018-19 school budget, Tuesday May 15.

The results from the budget are as follows:

During the 2017-18 school year, the District engaged our school community in an in-depth study of our schools. This process – to create a strategic plan – was guided by the efforts of our District Advisory Council (DAC) and in partnership with the Warner School of Education at the University of Rochester.

The Fairport Central School District Board of Education voted to adopt the 2018-19 school budget at the Special Meeting of the Board of Education, April 17 at Fairport High School. District administration also presented the budget proposal to the community at the Public Hearing on May 1.

Given the District’s declining enrollment and policy deployment,

The Fairport Central School District will host two upcoming events for the community for the proposed 2018-19 School Budget.

The Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 1 at Fairport High School, room 512 at 6:30 p.m. is an opportunity for the community to learn about the 2018-19 budget development process with the Board of Education and Fairport Central School District administration,

Dear Fairport Community:

Our District’s Board of Education voted to adopt the 2018-19 school budget at a Special Meeting on Tuesday, April 17. The $129,015,913 total budget is a 1.56% increase over the prior year’s budget, and is in compliance with the Property Tax Cap.
