Students at Northside Elementary School are practicing gratitude and the spirit of giving back this week as part of the school’s “Gratitude Week”. The Northside Student Council brainstormed a list of people who students are thankful for and assigned each group a day of the week. During the week, students at lunch are encouraged to write letters to the people in their lives in each group. Students can drop off the letters themselves, or give them to Student Council members to deliver. This week, the Northside Heroes are thanking bus drivers, custodial staff, cafeteria and kitchen staff, other Northside staff members, and their family and friends!
