Experience: My teaching journey began at Weddington Middle School in Union County, NC, where I taught seventh and eighth graders. Since then, I have taught students in diverse environments, including private schools, online platforms, and even across cultural borders in Indonesia. These experiences have fueled my passion for education, and I am excited to embark on my first year at Gamewell Middle School, where I will be teaching ELA and Social Studies to 8th graders.

Why I Became an Educator: The legacy of teaching runs deep in my family; both my grandmother and mother were dedicated teachers who instilled in me a profound respect for education. My decision to become a teacher was fueled by a genuine love for children, a passion for nurturing their growth, and a strong desire to empower students. Becoming an educator was a natural calling that allowed me to combine my love for children, education, and the fulfilling journey of shaping young individuals into capable and confident learners.
