The Bremerton School District is proposing a one-year capital levy measure in the February 12th election. This levy will replace the current levy when it expires soon.
The levy will generate $7,675,000 to support:
- Health and safety such as school security upgrades and HVAC systems.
- Teaching and community facilities such as sporting/physical education field improvements, instructional space and energy-efficient lighting.
- Preservation of District assets such as roof repair/replacement and sprinkler system repairs and upgrades.
>>This is a one-year levy. If approved in 2019, funds will be collected in calendar year 2020.
>>This capital levy will replace the current capital levy, tech levy and bond which all expire at the end of 2019.
