Bremerton School District has a long-term commitment for our students' health and wellness. Bremerton Health Services is a significant component in providing continued care from home to the school setting. The goal of Health Services is to ensure the medical needs of all students are met. This shall be accomplished by providing open communication and ongoing communication with the student, family, staff, health care providers, and the community. 

Health Services is vital in providing first aid, triage for illness and injuries, and direct services for students with special needs. In addition, Health Services also promotes health counseling and education for students, parents, and staff. Each school has a registered nurse avaliable to provide a wide range of services for students such as:

• Managing acute and chronic health conditions
• Addressing physical, mental, emotional, and social health needs for students
• Providing health education to promote physical and mental health
• Coordinating care with families and health care providers
• Administering medications and treatments
• Referral for intervention
