The Baldwinsville Central School District and its Board of Education welcomed two new staff members to the district on January 2, 2019.
Tiffany Turner has joined the district as a school business official. She will work closely with James Rodems, the district’s assistant superintendent for management services.
Also joining the district is Officer Andrea Natoli of the Village of Baldwinsville Police Department. She is the district’s new school resource officer and is based at Van Buren Elementary School. Read more about our new staff members HERE.
Coach Lloyd Earns Milestone Win!
Mark Lloyd, coach of the boys varsity hockey team, earned his 400th career win on December 28, 2018 in a home game against Mohawk Valley. Lloyd, who teaches health at Ray Middle School, has been the varsity coach since the 1985-1986 season. Congratulations, Coach!

District Taking Comments on Phase 2 of Smart Schools Plan
For the second phase of its Smart Schools Investment Plan, the district would like to spend $2.1 million of Smart Schools money for safety and security upgrades. At its December 17, 2018 meeting, the Board of Education approved the district’s preliminary plan for the second phase, which you can find HERE.
The community has 30 days to comment on the plan. Please send your comments or questions by January 25, 2019, to James Rodems, Assistant Superintendent for Management Services, at jrodems@bville.org.
