Baldwinsville Students Receive 32 Scholastic Writing Awards

Nineteen Baker High School students have received awards in the Northeast region of the 2019 Scholastic Writing Awards competition. The competition is open to students in grades 7-12. Baker PE Teacher Named Teacher of the Year

The NYS Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, Inc. (AHPERD) has named Candace Sweeney its 2019 Central North Zone Secondary Physical Education Teacher of the Year. Teachers are honored for excellence in teaching and overall performance. Sweeney, who teaches at Baker High School, will be honored at the association’s awards dinner on February 28, 2019.


Students Offering Free Tech Support to Senior Community

Baker High School students will be providing free tech support to the Baldwinsville senior community at Savvy Seniors on Saturday, March 23, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the school library. 
 
All computers and smartphones are welcome. Enjoy complimentary coffee and cookies as student volunteers answer your technology questions and assist you with your devices.
 
Volunteers are members of the Baker Genius Bar, which is made up of students who provide technology support to their peers and staff in an informal, friendly manner in the Baker library during their free time during the school day. To register, contact Leslie Cartier at lcartier@bville.org or call her at 315-638-6000.
 

April 1 is Deadline to Request Private & Parochial Transportation for 2019-2020

If your child will be attending a private or parochial school in the 2019-2020 school year, please submit a transportation request form to the transportation department by April 1, 2019. The form must be submitted every year. Click HERE for the form.
