District Seeks Volunteers for Budget Advisory Committees

The district is beginning the development process for its 2019-2020 budget and is seeking community input through budget advisory committees. The district is looking for volunteers to serve on these committees to review specific areas of the budget and to provide input on the budget components as well as recommendations for cost savings prior to the budget components being presented to the Board of Education for review. Opt In to Receive District Text Messages

The district uses the School Messenger Notification System to send important notifications, as well as emergency messages such as school closings, to parents and staff. Messages are sent automatically via the telephone and email. Did you know you can also opt in to receive these notifications as text messages?

To opt in to receive text messages, provide your child’s school with your cell phone number for the school database. Once your cell phone number is added to the school database, text the word YES to 68453 from your wireless device. You should receive an opt in confirmation message.

Please note that the district does not pay for text message charges that may be incurred by you for sending or receiving messages. Check with your wireless carrier for possible charges.
