Mr. Marmie is a proud graduate of U.C. Santa Cruz where his favorite classes were in Science and History.  Go Banana Slugs!  He attended Cal State Northridge, earning a teaching credential; and National University where he studied for and earned a Masters in Special Education.   He has a maintained a lifelong interest in all the sciences and is presently engaged in studying for a second Masters in Geoscience through Mississippi State University.   He holds Clear Credentials in History, Special Education, Geoscience and Cross Cultural Language and Development (CLAD).  He has worked for fourteen years in middle school settings, teaching for the last thirteen at Roosevelt Middle School.
