Miss Garcia, Sandra

Dear Parents and Students,

I want to welcome you and your families to Theodore Roosevelt Middle School for an exciting and promising 2023-2024 school year.  My name is Sandra E. Garcia and I will be your/your child’s social studies and dual language immersion teacher.

This is my eighth year here at Roosevelt Middle School, and I feel truly honored to be part of this incredible team of educators and administrators who work so diligently to ensure the academic success of ALL students.

For my part, I plan to use the skills I developed in almost two decades of work in the business administration field, volunteering in multiple educational settings, as well as what I learned in both in my undergraduate degrees and graduate studies, to help my students develop social studies skills, language skills, critical thinking, collaboration, global citizenship, self-advocacy, pro-social skills, and inquiry among many other concepts (whoa, that was a long sentence).

I know this is a very ambitious plan, but I strongly believe that with parental support and plenty of team-work, communication, and collaboration, together, all of us can ensure a successful school year.

Once again, welcome to Roosevelt Middle school, and to my website.  I look forward to working with you!

Best Regards,

Mrs. Garcia
7th and 8th Grade Spanish & History Teacher
