As a child, my goal was to become a teacher.  I was fortunate to achieve my goal, but I knew I couldn't do it without schooling.  I began at Cal State Northridge, where I received my BA. After graduating with a B.A., I decided to attend Pepperdine, where I received my Masters in Education and Multiple Subject Credential.  While attending school, I was able to work at different schools in GUSD where I was a T.A. and later, a student teacher.  After graduating from Pepperdine, I was offered a teaching position at Horace Mann, which I gladly accepted.  I taught 6th grade at Mann for four years, and later transferred to Roosevelt Middle School.  During this time, I decided to get my Administrative Credential, which I did at Point Loma.  I truly believe that I am very fortunate to continue to work at schools that I attended growing up in Glendale.
