Join the Fairport Central School District on Monday, March 28, 2022 from 6:30 – 8 p.m. at Fairport High School Room 512 for the 4th, and final, community forum on the New York State’s Culturally Responsive Sustaining Education Framework (CRSEF) to learn how the District is implementing the framework to engage and support all students in grades K-12 as it relates to Ongoing Professional Learning.
Fairport’s kindergarten registration begins Feb. 8
Children who will be five years old, on or before Dec. 1, 2022, are eligible to attend kindergarten for the 2022-23 school year at Fairport Central School District. The District is encouraging parents/guardians to register their child during Kindergarten Registration, which begins in February.
Parents will need to register at the school that their child will attend (see below for specific information for each school).

Fairport’s ‘Make a Difference’ campaign donates more than $14,000 to Veterans Outreach Center
The Fairport school community is giving back to local veterans this week as part of another successful fundraising effort from the District’s annual Make a Difference (MAD) campaign.
Fairport, in conjunction with Crazy Dog T-Shirts, presented a check totaling $14,160 to Veterans Outreach Center (VOC) of Rochester on November 8.
Fairport elementary schools raise $16,046 for Golisano Children’s Hospital
Fairport’s four elementary schools – Brooks Hill, Dudley, Jefferson Avenue and Northside – came together to raise awareness and funds to support Golisano Children’s Hospital in this year’s Fall Crawl on October 22.
This year, students from all four schools collected a total of $16,046.80. Over the past eight years the annual event has raised more than $55,000.
Students will be dismissed 10 minutes early on Thursday, Oct. 7
All students will be released 10 minutes early on Thursday, Oct. 7 for the District’s annual drill required by New York State Education Department (NYSED) regulations.
This drill also coincides with the District’s Safety Week, Oct. 12-15, in which students will learn and practice emergency safety drills. Fairport Schools practice these drills to refine communication processes,
Voter Information & Requirements for May 18 Vote
Fairport’s School Budget Vote and Board Elections for the 2021-22 school year is being held in person on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Johanna Perrin Gymnasium. All COVID-19 protocols will be followed, including masking and social distancing. All budget details are available in the District newsletter,
Jamie Naple is named new Dudley Principal, begins July 1
Jamie Naple, of Victor, was appointed as Dudley School’s next principal at the April 20, 2021 Board of Education meeting, beginning July 1, 2021. She will replace Karen Fingar, who is retiring at the end of June.
Mrs. Naple has extensive primary and elementary experience as a teacher and administrator.
